When you turned on two-factor authentication (2FA) for your account, you should have received a list of backup codes that you should save in a safe place. You can use these backup codes instead of the regular TOTP codes to sign in to your account and turn off 2FA. You can use each code only once.
If you don't have your backup codes, Modrinth generally cannot recover your account, and recovery requests to support will be denied. However, if you have an active Modrinth Servers or Modrinth+ subscription and can provide the details of the card on file, we may be able to assist with account recovery. Otherwise, to continue using Modrinth, you will need to create a new account. Please note that we are unable to transfer any data, projects, or revenue from accounts that are inaccessible due to a lost 2FA authenticator.
